With a whole lot of anticipation around the second season of Attack on Titan next year, fans are looking for any crumb of information about it. While nothing has been scheduled for the new series yet, as no season has been announced , the possibility of a clue has arrived. The first season of the series, which ran for twenty-five episodes, is now scheduled for a satellite broadcast run on BS Premium beginning January 9th, 2016. They’ll be doing two episodes at a time with the final night showing off the last three episodes. It’s scheduled to air every Saturday to completion, which will have it finishing up in late March.

Which could mean that the new season would land in the spring, allowing fans to catch-up and run with the new season without a break.

Plot concept: When the man-eating giants called Titans first appeared, humans retreated behind massive walls. After a hundred years of safety, a colossal-sized Titan smashes through the defenses, unleashing a flood of giants and carnage in the streets. Eren Jaeger watches helplessly as one of the creatures devours his mother. He vows to kill every Titan walking the earth.

Eren and his surviving friends enlist to fight against the insatiable monsters. The future looks bleak, but there’s more to Eren than meets the eye: he may be humanity’s last hope against extinction. The Titans have come to feast. Anything can happen. No one is safe.
