The official site for the noitaminA series Boku Dake ga Inai Machi due out next year has updated with some new information as we now have the cast for the series. We also now have a firm premiere date of January 8th, 2016 at 12:55 am as part of the block. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Kei Sanbe, which began back in the summer of 2012 in Young Ace. The manga has ranked well since then and has been slowly but surely gaining more attention and traction.
The cast now includes:
- Shinnosuke Mitsushima as Satoru Fujinuma
- Tao Tsuchiya as Satoru Fujinuma (10-year-old)
- Aoi Yuuki as Kayo Hinazuki
- Chinatsu Akasaki as Airi Katagiri
- You Taichi as Kenya Kobayashi
- Akari Kito as Hiromi Sugita
- Ayaka Nanase as Osamu
- Yukitoshi Kikuchi as Kazu
- Takahiro Mizushima as Jun Shiratori
- Minami Takayama as Sachiko Fujinuma
- Mitsuru Miyamoto as Gaku Yashiro
The anime adaptation is being directed by Tomohiko Itou based n the scripts by Taku Kishimoto and will be produced at A-1 Pictures. Keigo Sasaki is handling the character designs.
Plot concept: Struggling manga author Satoru Fujinuma is beset by his fear to express himself. However, he has a supernatural talent of “noticing things” that forces him to help people.
