The upcoming series Mahou Shoujo Nante Mou Ii desu kara has now revealed some new information through its official Twitter account with news that the series will be a part of the winter 2016 season. A premiere date is to be announced soon. It also revealed that the opening theme song will be performed by Earth Star Dream.
The series is set to be directed by Kazuhiro Yoneda, who got attention for his recent work on Yona of the Dawn. He’ll be directing based on the scripts and composition from Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who is getting script assists from Momoko Murakami. Character designs are set to be done by Kazuaki Shimada, seen most recently with Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls, and they’ll also be serving as the chief animation director.

The manga comes from Sui Futami that began back in March of this year. It currently has eighteen chapters published so far. The anime project is being handled by Pinejam.
Plot concept: The story follows Yuzuka Hanami, a young girl who has few friends but who can do anything. One day, Yuzuka gets accosted by a strange creature named Miton who is digging through a trash dump. Miton tells Yuzuka, “you have the makings of a magical girl” and seems extremely suspicious. When Yuzuka is suddenly transformed into a magical girl, she’s wearing a bathing suit.
