The Star Wars Rebels series isn’t taking any time off due to the holiday this week as they’re going to bring us another episode that gets into the guts of the Empire. They have a new episode out on Wednesday at 9:30pm on Disney XD that’s got the title Stealth Strike and they’ve now let loose with a second clip from it that gives us more time with Rex and Kanan in a good way.
The premise for the episode has also been revealed; “Rex and Kanan go undercover as stormtroopers for an important mission. They might make a good team…if they don’t kill each other first.”
The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall. The second season got underway on October 14th, 2015.
Plot concept: Set five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the series follows a motley group of rebels (all of whom have been affected by the Galactic Empire in one form or another) that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost. The series will also focus on the origins of some of the groups that will form the Rebel Alliance.
