Scheduled for 2016 with details still to come on the actual production and planned season, the main cast list for the rugby anime adaptation of All Out! has been revealed. The new anime adaptation is based on the manga of the same name from Shiori Amase, which has seven volumes out as of September. It began serialization in 2012 in Morning Two and has done solidly since.
The cast now includes:
Shouya Chiba as Kenji Gion
Yuto Adachi as Sumiaki Iwashimizu
Yoshimasa Hosoya as Takuya Sekizan
Ryota Osaka as Mutsumi Hachiouji
Plot concept: The story takes place in Kanagawa Prefectural High School. Kenji Gion, a short, first year high school student, meets the tall and timid Sumiaki Iwashimizu during a game of rugby. Because of their common interests, they form a rugby club and begin a friendship. However, their heights becomes an issue as the unlikely pair finds themselves often mismatched.
