The latest and greatest of sales and rankings have arrived from Japan with what’s sold for the week ending November 8th, 2015. And it’s a great week because it introduced me to the titel Gakuen Babysitters, which I now feel compelled to demand be licensed and have an anime adaptation made.
This week is pretty good all around in at least one sense as nine out of the ten books in the top ten are all new to the list, and half of them are over 100,000 units each. Bleach takes the top as expected and we get good showings for both Gintama and My Hero Academia, a title we expect to really get growing in the coming year. Similarly, we’re seeing growth for Ajin and expect that to bloom more when the first movie hits this month and the TV series early next year.
