With the first episode of the Broadcast Dub edition of Attack on Titan: Junior High debuting last night, FUNimation has now put out a two-minute promo clip for it. The clip works well for new fans and old alike as it essentially runs through quick character introduces to give us a taste of their personality and how far down the extreme that they’re going to run with it. New episodes go live for it every Wednesday at 8pm ET. The series has set Mike McFarland to direct it with Felecia Angelle and Todd Haberkorn serving as assistant ADR directors. Not surprisingly, the cast here is… familiar.

Attack on Titan: Junior High is directed by Yoshihide Ibata based on the composition by Midori Gotou and character designs by Yuuko Yahiro. Production IG handled the animation and the main Japanese voice cast from the anime series proper returned for it as well.
Plot concept: The school comedy story is set in a junior high school and centers on the original manga’s characters such as Eren and Mikasa as they battle with Titans. The spinoff incorporates gags while using Attack on Titan’s story and notable scenes as its basis.
