Comic book fans get to have another taste of some of the mediums best material as a new TV series crossover event is one the way in three weeks on The CW. As the network president stated last year, these aren’t things they’re looking to do regularly but rather as real event pieces to make them worthwhile. A lot of the foundations are being laid in both Arrow and Flash this season to launch the mid-season event series Legends of Tomorrow and we’ve seen those pieces coming into play in recent weeks. Most recently we had the debut of the Saunders character in Flash who will be taking on the role of Hawkgirl.
Which is what we get to see in the newest image out today from series producer Marc Guggenheim, along with a look at the Carter/Hawkman character as well. The image also provides for a bit of curiosity…. just why does Barry have those oversized dark grloves on?
