‘The Crow’ Reboot Moves Forward Again

2 min read

The CrowOne of a few films that continually seems to be in motion but never getting anywhere after years is the reboot of The Crow – a film which by no means requires or demands a reboot. A lot of fans had hoped that Relativity’s going into bankruptcy would end up causing it to fall apart, but now it appears that the project is going to be the first one that Relativity is going to deal with post-bankruptcy.

Yay.

According to TheWrap , the studio is going forward with Corin Hardy as the director with plans for it to enter production in March 2016. Which means casting has to begin pretty soon to get that in place as there’s no lead. The last we had heard about casting was that Andrea Risenborough was joining it, but that was back in May and it’s likely none of the casting that was in the works before is going to hold until confirmed.

Original film concept: The Crow is the tale of young musician Eric Draven (Lee) who, along with his fiancee, is murdered on the eve of their Halloween wedding. Exactly one year after their deaths, Eric is risen from the grave by a mysterious crow to seek out his killers and force them to answer for their crimes.
