With plans announced to be a part of the Ultra Super Anime Time block with a debut date of January 8th, 2016, new details have surfaced regarding the Sekkou Boys series. A new event was held this week at the Nihon University College of Art festival where additional casting was revealed for the show.
The new actors included are:
- Yui Makino as Mira Hanayashiki, a top idol
- Takaya Kuroda as Hanzō Horibe, the president of the Holbein Entertainment agency
- Rena Maeda as Kinue Yamashita, Mira’s manager
- Takahiro Sakurai as Hironori Yanagisawa, a senior manager at Holbein
The previously announced main cast includes:
- Tomokazu Sugita as Saint George
- Shinnosuke Tachibana as Medici
- Jun Fukuyama as Hermes
- Daisuke Ono as Mars
- Shiho Kokido as Miki Ishimoto
Animated by LIDENFILMS, the series will be directed by Seiki Takuno with script and composition by Michiko Yokote. Eriko Itou will be handling the character designs and serving as the chief animation director. Bonjour Suzuki will be providing the theme song for the series.
Plot concept: Four gypsum images with quirky personalities are part of an idol unit produced by a rookie female manager. The four members of Sekkou Boys are soldier saint George, the amorous god of war Mars, the multitalent with a beautiful skin Hermes, and celebrity pioneer Medici.
