‘Million Arthur’ Manga Gets New Anime Promo

2 min read

Kakusansei Million ArthurAnnounced back in June, the newest promo has gone live for the anime adaptation of Kakusansei Million Arthur. The series is based off the four-panel manga series by Choboraunyopomi, the creator behind Ai Mai Mai. The manga itself is based on the card battle game of the same name, which comes from Square Enix and has gone from an app game in 2012 to various mobile gaming platforms since then. With a number of chapters published so far for the manga since it began in the fall of 2014, the anime adaptation is planned as a short-form show that will run for four cour. It’s presumed that they’ll run one after the other without any breaks.

The promo is one that really feels like it’s just running with a ton of gags and jokes that are going to make any translator’s head spin around a few times, but could lead to some really hilarious things to be done with it.

Casting for the show is the strong as it’s got Jouji Nakata playing Lion while Rikiya Koyama is playing Horse.

Plot concept: Kakusansei Million Arthur is a card-battle game based on the legend of King Arthur. One million people also claim this title, wielding their own Excalibur.
