Media Factory set things early on for the home video release plans for High School DxD BorN, which will be getting a six-volume release that began on July 24th, 2015. With the series getting its release push back recently, the fourth volume is set for a November 25th, 2015. That cover and packaging have now been revealed. The Blu-ray releases will be priced at 7,000 yen while the DVD releases are priced at 6,000 yen. Each release in the series will come with two episodes and a new special drama CD, web video material from the radio show and other undisclosed bonus material.
First press materials for the third volume includes a special booklet with newly written novel material and a special illustration card.
The series will be directed by Tatsuya Yanagisawa, who directed the previous season, based on series composition by Takao Yoshioka and character designs by Junji Goto. The main cast are all returning for the new season as well.
The first two seasons came relatively quickly with the first debuting in 2012 and the second hitting in 2013. FUNimation has released both of those on DVD/BD in North America.
The light novel series began in 2008 and has nineteen volumes to its name so far. A manga adaptation kicked off in 2010 with the main run of it having four volumes, but there are a few spinoffs as well. Yen Press has picked up the main manga as well as the first spinoff from 2012. A 3DS visual novel game was released at the end of 2013 in Japan as well.
