Manga creator Jun Mochizuki is fairly well known in manga circles outside of Japan as her work Pandora Hearts has attracted a solid audience, but her other works with Crimson Shell have also gotten her notice with those picked up and various art books. With Pandora Hearts having completed, Mochizuki is getting ready for the next potential big work with the upcoming series Vanitas no Carte, or Memoir of Vanitas.
The new series looks to focus on 19th century Paris with a blend of steampunk and vampires, which means elegant and intriguing costumes and a slew of new cosplay potential coming up. The first installment will arrive with the December 22nd, 2015 Gangan Joker magazine.
Pandora Hearts ran for almost ten years and produced 24 compiled volumes, which are being released by Yen Press in North America. The anime adaptation was released by NIS America.
