Similar to The Flash, the sizzle reel that Arrow gets for its fourth season is one that reflects on what’s gone before, touches upon the premiere, and then launches into some of what’s been produced so far for it. That means we get a look at some of the early themes of the season as well as the villains and guest actors that are appearing on it. The show has certainly done some really good stuff over its three seasons and the fourth season moves past what they consider the “opening trilogy” of material and into some new angles for the lead, Stephen Amell, to play with as he takes on the role of the Green Arrow.
Plot concept: The jaw-dropping Season 4 highlight reel offered fans their first on-screen peek at several new super suits, including Stephen Amell’s updated Arrow look and John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) inaugural form of concealment. The reel also marked the highly-anticipated introductions of Damien Darkh (Neal McDonough) and John Constantine (Matt Ryan), who are sure to spice things up in the Arrowverse when the show returns Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 8/7c on The CW.
