The official site for the Active Raid: Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai Hakkei series has opened and that means we now have a clean and properly colored look at the key visual for the new original series. The show is scheduled for a winter 2016 debut and will be on most of the main networks in Japan. While no casting has been revealed, the main staff has been. The series has Gorou Taniguchi serving as the chief director with Noriaki Akitaya as the main director. Shun Saeki created the original character designs while Asako Nishida is adapting them for the show. Scripts are being written by Naruhisa Arakawa.

With a pretty strong staff like this, it really feels like it’ll be a Sunrise series. Time will tell. The full site is set to go live on October 22nd, 2015.

Plot concept: Set in a part of Tokyo that has descended into a quagmire, the story follows Unit 8 of the 5th Special Public Security Section’s 3rd Mobile Assault Division, popularly called “The Eighth,” who don powered armor “Willwear” exoskeletons to counter the rise in crime.
