The latest manga rankings and light novel sales out of Japan have arrived for the week ending October 4th and there’s some good and popular titles that have landed. The big one of course is the latest One Piece installment that hits just under 1.5 million copies in its opening two days of release. Which means there’s a wide gap between it and the second place. Haikyu!! with its 18th volume has strong sales though with 367,000 units while Assassination Classroom nips at hits heels with 354,000 units. The list has some good second-week sales and other debuts, including the 7th installment of The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel, which clocks in at just over 100,000 units for its latest release.
