‘Macross Delta’ Anime Series Gets New Details

1 min read

Macross Delta LogoWith an event coming up on October 29th, 2015 to dig into the next Macross series, the official site/portal has updated with a few key pieces of information.

First, the series has been named Macross Delta formally, though it’s being written as Macross Δ as well. That comes through with the logo visual that you can see to the right and our first key visual from the series with two of the fighters going at it.

The rest is set to be revealed at the event next month where Shoji Kawamori will be there with the main staff as well as the winner for the audition of the new singer. Apparently somewhere over 8,000 people audition for it.

The series is going to be part of a resurgence of merchandise with a consolidated overall line and plans to really get out there with it. Since the last TV series project came out in 2007, it’s certainly ripe for a new installment.

But not for North American fans, especially those that play it as legally as they can and have missed out on so much over the years because of business shenanigans.

  1. “Obligatory Harmony Gold sucks comment.”
With that out of the way, I’m pretty excited for this. Loved Macross Frontier, my first entry into the franchise. Been waiting for more since those movies came out.
