After several Studio 4°C anime series debuted on Netflix earlier this month, one of their more interesting TV series projects has now arrived on there with Tweeny Witches. The twenty-six episode series is now available in full in its original Japanese language form with English language subtitles. The series was previously licensed for home video release in North America by Media Blasters in bilingual form. Originally airing in Japan in 2004 to 2005, the series was created by Keita Amemiya, who created Iria and the current Garo works.

Plot concept: Arusu believes in magic. With all her heart, she believes that magic is possible and that it can be used for good deeds and fun games. But suddenly, she finds herself transported into another world, ruled by a mysterious elite of witches—and these witches don’t seem to be in it for the fun. They’re hard at work capturing sprites, the native magical beings of the world, and forcing them into slavery. Once Arusu realizes that her new surroundings aren’t just a dream, she sets out to change things.
