The latest sales rankings have arrived from Japan with what’s selling when it comes to the world of anime DVDs and Blu-ray’s. It’s a pretty mild week overall as a lot of titles are pretty much just bringing on meager additional sales here, though that isn’t bad when it’s an oversized and expensive box set like Neon Genesis Evangelion. The top of this week is the second Working!!! installment with just over 3,000 units on Blu-ray and 1,000 on DVD while the twelfth Sailor Moon Crystal release continues to show little purchasing interest there with just under 2,000 units. The same can be said for World Trigger which can’t hit the 1,000 mark like so many others. The DVD side is mostly the same with a few movies continuing to chart that are aimed more at kids getting them to rewatch constantly, though the Uta no Prince-sama release continues to do well simply because it’s a CD bundle.
