The first costumed visual has arrived for the characters of Hawkman and Hawkgirl for Legends of Tomorrow, which arrives in 2016 on The CW. The characters of Carter Hall and Kendra Saunders are played by Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renee respectively and are looking to work a familiar take on them in this TV iteration but with some expected changes simply due to the lengthy and convoluted history they have in the books over the decades.
With a real world aspect applied to it that fits in with several comic interpretations over the years, particularly from the Truman era, these look spot on and we’re excited to see them in action soon.
Set for the winter 2016 season, it’s been confirmed for a thirteen episode run – which is perfect for this kind of project and one that I hope we see utilized well going forward.

Plot concept: When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?
No wings for either of them (Unless they fold out from their bodies as they need them)? Otherwise I like the look of both.
