Warner Bros. Japan is doing some new promotion for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders as the sixth volume of the Egypt Arc, which arrives on September 30th, 2015. With a good sized image to check out if you click ’em, you can see what kind of pack-in extras there are. While no jacket this time around, we get the final four episodes and a Dio statue alongside the 100 page booklet. The Blu-ray releases are priced at 9,500 yen each while the DVDs are priced at 5,000 yen each for the six volume run that will have four episodes per volume.
The series stars Daisuke Hirakawa as Noriaki Kakyoin, Daisuke Ono as Jotaro Kujo, Fuminori Komatsu as Jean-Pierre Polnareff, Kenta Miyake as Mohammed Abdul and Unshou Ishizuka as Joseph Joestar. Kenichi Suzuki is serving as the series director with Naokatsu Tsuda as episode director based on scripts by Yasuko Kobayashi and character designs by Masahiko Komino out of David Production. The show is based on the original manga series by Hirohiko Araki.
Plot concept: After 30 days of travel across the world, plagued with countless battles, Jotaro and his companions have finally arrived in Egypt! Now only the strongest “Stand” users remain to rebuff our heroes’ final march on Cairo: The Nine Egyptian Gods, DIO’s most zealous servants. Will the Joestar line fall to the monstrous vampire, or can Jotaro defeat DIO and save his mother’s life?
