The latest rankings out of North America for what’s selling via the New York Times Best Seller List has arrived and it’s little surprise that Tokyo Ghoul has topped the chart. The first volume has done very well for Viz Media and it even ranks sixth this week, so the second charting at the top shows some good continuing enthusiasm for it. Viz media grabs the fourth spot for Naruto and basically owns the sixth through tenth spots with their range of titles, including Food Wars ranking at seventh with its latest volume.
Seven Seas Entertainment has a good hold with the seventh Monster Musume volume, making them wish there was a lot more material to release still, while their third installment of Citrus is very, very welcome to see taking the fifth spot.
And it still feels incredibly wrong to not have Attack on Titan charting here. Very wrong.

A bit of irony, serendipity, or both, that this entry, with Tokyo Ghoul Vol. 2 topping the chart, is posted just after the review for Vol. 1, which is still on the chart. We have the usual round of the usual suspects, with 8 of the 10 being currently licensed anime in the US.
