After we got the promotion for the seventh volume of the series Hantsu x Trash earlier this year, I had a sense we’d see this get an anime in some form. Now here we are with news that the eighth installment of the series due out on October 6th will also be solicited with a limited edition release that will contain an OVA. Details are sparse at the moment so we don’t know who is involved in it yet or what length the episode will run.
The manga comes from Hiyoko Kobayashi and has been serialized since 2012 with the seventh volume out for it back on March 6th, 2015. The property has not been picked up for North American distribution.
Plot concept: Hamaji Youhei, a high school freshman, lives his life aimlessly, lazing around all day. He can’t keep up with his studies, no good at sports and won’t stick with anything for long. Besides that he’s a pervert who’s continuously rejected by girls. A sophomore convinces him into joining a club where he could lunge at girls, fondling and touching all he wanted. Thus he joined the Water Polo Club.
Can Youhei, who never sticks with anything for long, find his place in this club?
