Food Wars! | Episode 19 | TFP Review
Jun Kuga: Jun is a super adorable food girl, who is worthy of my attention.
EmperorBrandon: Heh, I was thinking of you when I saw who her VA was in the ending credits.
Jun Kuga: Nobody voices adorable food girls better.
And we finally learned who the stalker in the ending theme is too… I’m guessing we can add two new names to the Food Wars wall of Awesome Female Characters then?
EmperorBrandon: Haha, Megumi gets kabe-don’d by a cool girl, twice… She’s still so overly humble, though, so the interest Houjou shows in her completely disintegrates when Megumi can’t speak up about it. She’s going to be in the same group as Houjou, though, so hopefully we’ll get to see Megumi really prove herself again.
I had a feeling Erina was the target of hinted stalker in the ED, given how much admiration she gets. So now we finally see her in show. Curious to see how she tangles with Hisako (also looks like they’re Group B).
GingaDaiuchuu: I like the new theme songs and their accompanying sequences, but man it would be way too fitting to have the first ED for this episode. They could’ve even done something creative with integrating it, like that one episode that used it so brilliantly.
Speaking of the ED, hi stalker. Good to see you in the series proper.
Loving the Autumn Elections already. A damn shame this adaptation will be ending soon. Ideally the anime could span the spring and summer seasons of each year until it concludes, assuming that’s feasible for the staff and enough time off to keep up the great pacing we’ve had so far. At the very least I hope we won’t be left wondering if we’ll ever see any more animated.
Sensuifu: Hah, I wonder what’s up with stalker-san’s beef with Hisako. The two must have some kind of history between each other, or Nao is just an obsessed screwball. 
Hitsugi Amachi: I think it’s purely just Nao being jealous that Hisako is allowed to be anywhere near her “beloved.” If Souma were to get closer to Erina (hah hah), he’d get the same stink eye from Nao.
Sensuifu: Jun is adorable, but how was she able to earn the prestige if she was ‘all theory’ and I assume, wasn’t all there in ‘practice’. A bit silly that she needs a sidekick in Hayama if she’s already earned herself a respectable position within the academy.
And Hojo, kind of a bitch dismissing Megumi like that. Seeing that they’re in the same group, it’ll be interesting to see how they’ll compete against each other. Though Hisako vs Noa would probably be just as entertaining.
