2 min read

Naruto Volume 71 CoverThe latest rankings of what’s selling in North America in the realm of manga has arrived via the New York Times Best Seller list for the week ending on August 8th. This week sees some decent movements in the chart though we continue to be delighted to see Attack on Titan there as it’s now at 110 weeks. Viz Media essentially dominates the list this week with six titles on the chart and five of them taking over the top five. The latest Naruto installment, the penultimate one of the series, takes the top spot and we get other familiar titles ranking well here. New to the list is the first volume of My Hero Academia, which took the fourth spot, while we also get the first volume of Seraph of the End returning to the list.

Yen Press brings two volumes to the party this week with No Game No Life with its second volume while the third volume of Akame ga Kill! arrives as well. Will it see a surge in the coming weeks due to the Toonami run of the anime series?

  1. It’s great to see One Piece making the top 10. And 110 weeks for Attack on Titan is incredible. How much copies need to be sold to make the top 10 anyways?
