With the fifth season of Teekyu having kicked off last month, fans have been wondering if there’ll be more since there have been in-show references to the fact that it will go on. Now it’s been confirmed that the series will have a sixth season that will debut this fall, carrying on with the same production team and staff for it.
The manga series, which runs in Comic Earth Star Magazine, began back in 2012 and had its first season in 2012 and a second and third seasons in 2013 while the fourth landed in 2014. The short-form series has episodes that run just a couple of minutes each as part of the push Earth Star Entertainment made to get a foothold in the anime world with their properties.
Plot concept: The series follows the hilarious everyday routines of four girls in the Kameido High tennis club who, on occasion, actually play some tennis.
