Short-form series Million Doll took a break between the fifth and sixth episodes by giving us a point five episode. Clocking in at its normal run time, what we get is a four minute episode from one fan event shows towards the end of July with the cast coming out on stage to take with fans. They get to talk about their characters, the story in very superficial ways and some of what it’s like to be a part of the Itorio band. There’s the potential for some interesting moments, such as when they talk about the Itorio dialect, but since those aspects are lost for most viewers it doesn’t really provide a lot. But getting a little understanding helps a bit when viewing the Itorio group again.

In Summary:
Expected as a bonus with the home video release, it’s actually pretty nice to get this streamed since it would be hard to impossible to see otherwise for most fans. Especially since we get a little bit of the live action concert at the end with the theme song sung by the actresses. That said, if the show needs a break to catch up at this phase of it by doing this, I’d start getting worried about the quality of the production overall. It’s not fantastic to begin with but padding it out with live action material from the fan events doesn’t inspire confidence.
