I’m always looking for ways to get more anime into the hands of the fans since I’m running out of room and need to move more of it. So what we’re going to run here is a specific kind of new contest, one that’s a bit loose in the rules but also straightforward. Every day for the next seven days, starting today, August 8th, 2015, we’ll be giving away one DVD or Blu-ray collection from our library. We’ve got the breakdown of days and releases below along with a look at the artwork and you can find out more in the tags further down.
How to win? Simply post on any of the reviews or news items out there on the site. We’d like to see a bit more conversation on the articles themselves and if you can win something by doing so, why not, right? The more you post, the more chances you get to be randomly drawn at the start of each day for the day prior. We’ll reply to you asking for your details and ship it right off, with tracking, so you know when new anime goodness will be in hand.
The only restrictions? You must be in the US (overseas shipping requires more paperwork, and I’m tight on time as is), and posts of gibberish won’t be counted. We’re looking for some contributions here, not spam folks. And no, posts on this article don’t count. 😀 With so many different methods through which to post, take a chance and you might win:
- Saturday – Atelier Escha & Logy Complete Collection Blu-ray
- Sunday – Sakura Trick Complete Collection DVD
- Monday – Is The Order A Rabbit? Complete Collection Blu-ray
- Tuesday – Noragami Season 1 Limited Edition DVD/BD
- Wednesday – My Teen Romantic SNAFU Complete Collection Blu-ray
- Thursday – The Kawai Complex Complete Collection DVD
- Friday – Guardian Ninja Mamoru!! Complete Collection DVD
I entered by leaving a comment on the Noragami Limited Edition Review. Great review by the way. I’ll aim to pass on word of this anime contest to others through my blog when I get the chance. Thanks!
Oh if I could have SNAFU, I’d be happy.
This is a great idea. The comment section is always dead so I get discouraged to post anything. I guess from now on I’ll post regardless. Thanks. You’re welcome. See ya’ later.
Discussion is always hard on some level to start. The forums are pretty busy but I like having some great comments to work with on the articles as well, especially since a lot of folks prefer not to deal with forums. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Great idea, that SNAFU is catching my eye
Commented on the upcoming Gundam BD release.
