A new set of ranking data has arrived from Japan with what’s sold and how much it’s sold, giving fans a chance to see what might warrant more anime being produced down the line. That sadly doesn’t apply to Shirobako though as we’ve been told that the team is committed to too many other projects, but it’s great for fans to see that the 7th volume takes the top spot with over 13,000 copies sold on Blu-ray. Kantai Collection continues to do strong numbers and the latest OVA release for Strike Witches does as well. The debut of Food Wars is something that went over as expected, coming in at 11th with just over 1600 copies sold. Most of what we get are low selling ongoings here while the DVD side is focused heavily on movies for the top spots.
