The slate of series available on Netflix when it comes to anime is kind of varied and all over the map at times, but new additions continue to roll in each month. With August here, four new series have now begun streaming on the service in different forms. Those series include:
- Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (Season 1) – Japanese with either English or Spanish subtitles
- Mushi-Shi -Next Passage- – Japanese with either English or Spanish subtitles
- Red Data Girl – English dub or Japanese with English subtitles
- Silver Spoon (Seasons 1 & 2) – Japanese with English subtitles
Fate/Stay Night: Following the events of Fate/zero…The animation of the fifth Holy Grail War is confirmed for THIS FALL! The Type-Moon x ufotable masterpiece Fate/ stay night is back. Shirou and Saber’s battle begins…
Mushi-Shi -Next Passage-: Ginko’s journey continues…what kind of mushi will he encounter this time?
Red Data Girl: Izumiko is a fifteen year old outcast who was raised inseclusion at an ancient shrine hidden deep within the forest. This mysterious teenager destroys any electrical device she attempts to use, and her painful shyness has left her with few, if any, friends. Her world begins to evolve after enrolling in Houjou Academy, a school home to students of supernatural origins. Accompanied by her fated guardian, the brooding monk-in-training Miyuki, Izumiko soon discovers the shocking truth about herself: she is a vessel for the spirt of a powerful and vengeful goddess from a time long since passed. As her bond with Miyuki growns stronger, the spirit lurking within Izumiko begins to awaken. Can this fragile beauty learn to control her newfound power– or will the secret she carries make her the enemy of all mankind?
Silver Spoon: The only reason why Yugo Hachiken decided to attend the Oezo Agricultural High School (a.k.a Ezono) was simply because the school had a dormitory. Entering Ezono was a way for Yugo to run away from the stifling academic pressures in the city, however, it didn’t take long for him to realize that life is not that simple. Yugo is soon forced to face more hurdles in his new environment surrounded by all the farm animals and the magnificent Mother Nature. He also begins feeling a different kind of pressure as he deals with his classmates who, unlike him, all have a clear view of what they want for their futures. Even so, as Yugo overcomes one challenge after another at Ezono and deepens his bonds with his classmates, he begins to grow stronger both physically and mentally. This is a coming-of-age story filled with sweat, tears, and literally a lot of dirt!
