Kodansha USA Acquires Kosuke Fujishima’s ‘Paradise Residence’ Manga

1 min read

Paradise Residence ReturnsWith a second volume of Paradise Residence coming out in Japan next month, Kodansha USA has announced their acquisition of the Kosuke Fujishima manga series. The publisher has not set andy debut plans for their version of it yet, though it’s easy to imagine this will be a 2016 release in general.

Originally beginning serialization back in November 2008 and running through 2012, Kosuke Fujishima returned  to Paradise Residence with the July 2014 issue of Afternoon magazine. That came as Fujishima had recently brought his Ah! My Goddess series to a close after a very lengthy run. The original run, which was done intermittently, had only eight chapters produced before he was drawn back to his core work that has dominated much of his professional life that totaled forty-eight volumes.

Plot concept: Paradise Residence is about the battles in the first dormitory of the Kikka Institute, where the dorm mother is a grade school girl. The main character is Hatsune Takanashi, a student at the Kikka Academy girls’ dormitory. She’s active and straightforward, has trouble waking up, hates natto, and one of her main three urges is the lust for conquest!
