The latest sales rankings in the world of manga and light novels has arrived and it’s a pretty interesting week as we get the end of June and into the first week of July. One Piece naturally dominates the manga side of it with 1.67 million copies sold for its latest installment, which will be climbing for some time yet to come as well. It’s a far cry for second place where Assassination Classroom‘s latest volume comes in at 424,000 copies. Bleach and Toriko are around where they usually, if not a bit less, while My Love Story gains ground to take fifth place by adding another 100,000 units sold. Most of the rest of the top ten is all about adding new sales to previously released volumes.
On the light novel side, SNAFU continues to top the chart as it adds another 25,000 units sold to its rank for the 11th volume and the novelization of Bakemono no Ko repeats what it did last week, bringing it to 50,000 as we get closer to the movie’s opening. The latest Testament of Sister New Devil has arrived as well with 15,000 copies and more Sounen Onmyouji has arrived too, charting at 12th.
