As much fun as fans and the Simpsons team themselves had with the whole Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli piece a couple of years ago, this is the one that wins hand down for me as we get the “Bartkira” parody trailer.
The mashup is pretty damn impressive from this group of parody makers as it’s certainly not something that you’ll be seeing on TV. But damn does it do it right from start to finish in how it makes its replacements. Apparently this is also based on the Simponsized fan adaptation of the original manga that has three volumes worth done so far.
There are some standout trailer parodies out there but this is one that needs to be seen, especially if you’re a big fan of both properties.
