‘Star Wars’ Series Will Explore The Secret History Of Obi-Wan Kenobi

2 min read

Star Wars Issue 7 HeaderThe next issue of the Marvel Comics series for Star Wars is getting ready to do some really fun stuff. After seeing some teases of the old place on Tatooine in the latest issue of Darth Vader, the 7th issue of Star Wars from Jason Aaron and guest artist Simone Bianchi are digging into old Kenobi’s past through some journals that were kept. This will fill in some of the more curious aspects of the character’s history from after the Clone Wars and should be a pretty interesting new-canon interpretation.

Plot concept: Luke Skywalker has uncovered the journals of his departed mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi. Now, experience Kenobi’s harrowing accounts of days long gone by! It is a time when injustice reigned on Tattooine. As villainous scum runs rampant over the blistering sands, only a Jedi Master stands any hope of liberating the planet from the grasp of gangs, thieves and thugs. But would Ben risk everything to do what was right? Even if it meant revealing himself to those searching for his whereabouts? Find out this July as Aaron & Bianchi bring you STAR WARS #7!
