Aniplex Japan has now finished off its solicitations for the spring 2015 anime series Punch Line with the final volume now solicited. The series was getting a volume by volume solicitation, which is something Anipelx Japan likes to do, and the sixth and final volume is now available for preorder now that the series has finished broadcasting. With two episodes on it, the Blu-ray releases are priced at 6,800 yen each and the DVD releases are matched at the same price, which we don’t see too often. The show is being directed by Yutaka Uemura based on scripts by Kotaro Uchikoshi with animation at Mappa. Character designs are being handled by Shota Iwasaki. It stars Marina Inoue as Yūta Iritatsu, Sora Amamiya as Mikatan Narukino, Haruka Tomatsu as Rabura Chichibu, Minako KotobukiIto Hikiotani and Rie Kugiyama Meika Taihatsu.
The series works with the tagline of “Once he sees underwear, humanity is destroyed!?”, which pretty much says all that a lot of people will need to determine their interest.

Plot concept: If he sees underwear, humanity will be destroyed!? An original anime series from the noitaminA block, PUNCH LINE centers on Yuta Iridatsu, a high school student, with a peculiar habit. When he sees a girl’s panties, he gets so excited he faints! After a certain incident with a ghost cat, his soul gets separated from his body. Using his special powers, Yuta watches the daily lives of the inhabitants of an apartment and sometimes plays tricks on them. Eventually, Yuta decides to unlock the secrets to why Earth will be destroyed and tries to save it!
