3 min read

Gunslinger Stratos HeaderAniplex Japan has now scheduled the seventh volume for the Gunslinger Stratos anime series for DVD and Blu-ray, which means we’ve got a newly updated chart below. This release brings the series to a close when it arrives on November 25th, 2015. The first volume was released on May 27th, 2015  where the Blu-ray LE is priced at 4,000 yen and the DVD LE is priced at 3,000 yen. The second volume, and subsequent volumes, will be priced at 7,560 yen for the Blu-ray and 6,480 yen for the DVD, where each volume will include two episodes.

The show is animated by a-1 Pictures for the spring 2015 anime season. The series is being done as an original story from Gen Urobuchi with Shinpei Ezaki of Guilty Crown on board to direct based on scripts by Norimitsu Kaiho. Shinichi Yokoya is handling the character designs for the series. The cast from the game are reprising their roles here and the first promotional spot has been released as well. Not surprisingly, a manga tie-in is also planned for Dengeki Maoh’s April issue, which went on sale in late February 2015.

People believed their lives would never change and tomorrow will be the same as today. No one suspected the impending doom which their society was about to face… “Degradation”—a rare disease which led to the total disintegration of the human body to a mere pile of sand was slowly but surely spreading throughout the world. Tohru Kazasumi, an ordinary student becomes embroiled in a multi universal battle between his world and the parallel world of “Frontier S (Stratos).” This meant that Tohru must fight himself from an alternate world. Their futures collide as their paths cross. Will both worlds ever find peace?
