The second volume of Ojisan and Marshmallow series is out later this week in Japan, and the book is starting to arrive through the usual distribution methods and that means some folks are snapping early pictures of the cover. And doing so because the wraparound on it is announcing that an anime adaptation is on the way for Rekomaru Otoi’s work. Similar to most announcements like this, there are no actual details to be had about it, but based on the amount of content and its origins via the Pixiv site, we’re going to gamble on this being a short form series that publisher Ichijinsha will be working to get out there with.
Plot concept: The story centers around Kusaka, an older man who loves marshmallows, and Wakabayashi, an OL (office lady) who loves Kusaka. The manga follows as their relationship unfolds at their office.
