As is the nature of Aniplex Japan and most of their distribution, they reveal volumes individually for solicitation rather than the full slate of them, so we didn’t have the full listings until recently for Ultimate Otaku Teacher, also known as Denpa Kyoushi. With the first volume coming up in the near future, they’ve now revealed the first cover for the first release of the series. The spring 2015 anime series is getting an eight volume release with three episodes per volume that will begin on August 26th, 2015. The Blu-ray editions will be priced at 7,344 yen each while the DVDs are at 6,264 yen each.
The original work from the manga by Takeshi Azuma. The show is directed by Masato Sato based on the series composition by Atsushi Maekawa and character designs by Isao Sugimito. The cast includes Hiroshi Kamiya as Junichiro Kagami, Rena Matsui as Suzune Kagami, Sora Amamiya as Minako Kanou, Suzuko Mimori as Koyomi Hiiragi, Saori Onishi as Makina Momozono, Azusa Tadokoro as Kiriko Shikishima, Rina Hidaka as Kanan Chinami, Ayane Sakura as Kisaki Tenjouin and Aki Toyosaki as Koutaro Araki.

Plot concept: Kagami Junichirou was known as a physics genius when he was a teenager, and he was even published in “Nature.” However, after college, he suddenly lost all interest in science. As a NEET, he’s devoted himself to his anime blog and nerdy collecting habits. He claims he has a serious illness called “I can’t do anything I don’t want to do.” Desperate to get him to do something with his life, his little sister manages to get him a job teaching physics at his old high school. He’s certainly an unconventional teacher, but he becomes fairly popular with the students. After helping a girl who’s being ruthlessly bullied, Kagami finds that he actually likes teaching. Will he continue his career as a weird teacher? Will he go back into physics? Or will he end up back where he started?
