‘Danchigai’ Anime Gets First TV Spot

2 min read

DanchigaiThe summer series Danchigai is getting itself out there a bit more as the manga publisher Ichijinsha has now put together a new 30 second spot for the show ahead of its debut. This gives us a small taste of the instrumental music but also our first good clean look at the animation and a touch of the voice acting as well. The series will be getting a July 9th, 2015 debut in Japan on TV Saitama and KBS before rolling out to other locations, including Niconico. The short form series is getting a bit of extra love as episodses will clock in at five minutes. With three volumes of Ichijinsha’s manga series Danchigai published in Japan, the third just last month, the four panel manga is going to be done as a short as it’s coming from Dream Creation, who has worked on a lot of this, and it’s set Hiroshi Kumura as the director for it.

  • Satomi Akesaka as Mutsuki Nakano
  • Mikako Komatsu as Yayoi Nakano
  • Sora Tokui as Uzuki Nakano
  • Sayaka Horino as Satsuki Nakano
  • Atsushi Abe as Haruki Nakano

Plot concept: The story revolves around Haruki and his four sisters: Mutsuki, Yayoi, Uzuki, and Satsuki. While their life may seem monotonous—aside from the fact that Haruki’s sisters don’t give him a single opportunity to rest, lecturing him about every perceived mistake and playing tricks on him—Haruki still likes his life.
