‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Adds New Character Spot

2 min read

Fear The Walking DeadAfter revealing the title of Fear the Walking Dead awhile ago and the first non-thrilling teaser for it, AMC is now starting to put together some character promo pieces. The first one up is for the character of Nick, played by Frank Dillane. There’s really not a lot to it, but it’s one of those pieces that can provide some good hints, particularly just in the way characters react to the craziness that’s going on around them. With so many zombie flicks having characters standing idly by as they get chomped, it’s good to see a real runner here, and one with some real panic to his face. And it’s also got to see something that’s not the usual Georgia locale…

The series recently got picked up for two seasons, the first being a six episode run planned for late summer this year.

Check out the teaser:

The new series, which is looking to take place roughly in the same time period as the main show but in a different location, is co-created by Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson. To bring it to life, they’ve brought on Adam Davidson, who has been around for quite a few years doing a lot of TV directing, including Hell on Wheels, Fringe and a variety of dramas such as Grey’s Anatomy and Parenthood – and even a dash of comedy such as Community.

The series stars Kim Dickens as Madison,Cliff Curtis as Travis, Frank Dillane as Nick, Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia, Elizabeth Rodriguez as Liza, Mercedes Mason as Ofelia and Rubén Blades.
