It looks like the Pony Canyon series Yuki Yuna is a Hero may have done pretty well as there’s news from multiple fronts about several projects with the overall property. With the radio show involving the original actresses, it appears that that is going to continue on with quarterly installments, making it more manageable on their schedules, which in turn could easily fuel the idea that there will be more anime on the way for the property. Especially with additional news that a new character song is in the works.
The more interesting and tangible news of the moment though is that Dengeki G’s magazine will debut a new spinoff manga in August 2015 with Wakaba Nogi is a Hero. No details on who’s involved in the project at this point though. But one can see that if it does well, a bundled anime episode might be in its future as well. Think of the whole Magi/Sinbad angle.
Original series concept: The story takes place in the era of the gods, year 300. Yuuna Yuuki lives an ordinary life as a second year middle school student, but she’s also a member of the “Hero Club,” where club activities involve dealing with a mysterious being called “Vertex.”
