Schemmel & Sabat Answer ‘Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F” Anime Questions

2 min read

Dragon Ball Z Resurrection FFUNimation has been getting things in order for its planned theatrical release of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ this summer and recently announced that it will get a limited screening between August 4th and 12th in theaters across the U.S. and Canada. A trailer for the release has also been released that you can see below. Since they’re looking to build up a bit more enthusiasm for it, they’ve now put together a pair of Q&A spots that are a lot of fun.

The first brings up Sean Schemmel, who plays Goku, to talk about the roles he’s taken over the years with it and his enjoyment with it, clocking in at just over four minutes with that and more. The second one has Chris Sabat talking about playing Vegeta, and revealing a new little insight into the original dubbing of the TV series years ago with what really influenced them.

Based on the screenplay by original creator Akira Toriyama, the two hour film is directed by Tadayoshi Yamamuro with Toei Animation handling the production side of it.

Plot concept: An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza’s army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for ‘egg’) arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the “F” that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived…!
