2 min read

Mission Impossible Rogue NationAfter getting bumped out of the near Christmas 2015 release due to the power that will be Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Paramount Pictures has brought out the second trailer for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. The marketing for the film has been pretty light considering the amount of money involved, but now that we’re entering a surprisingly quiet summer season, the opportunity to build up a lot after Jurassic World hits is definitely there and you can see this being some solidly fun summer action material.

The fourth film, Ghost Protocol, debuted in 2011 and made $694 million worldwide on its $145 million budget. No budget has been revealed for this film formally yet.

The feature is directed by Christopher McQuarrie based on a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Will Staples and is distributed by Paramount Pictures. The film stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Jeremy Renner as William Brandt, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Sean Harris, Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin.

Plot concept: IMF agent Ethan Hunt is tracked down by the Syndicate, a highly trained organization of rogue assassins that kill on order. With the help of his colleagues, he plans to bring the Syndicate down by any means necessary.
