Hulu JapanWith Netflix looking to make inroads i nJapan, and a case to be made for them investing in some anime productions that will be exclusive to them to gain more eyeballs, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing the corporate landscape begin to shift there with who will support what.

One of the players is Hulu, who has now secured more content for their service in Japan (and Japan only) with deals made with Fuji TV and the noitaminA anime materials.  The expansion of anime materials on the service, one that’s well run and has strong international support and gains additional audience attention due to it bringing in popular American shows, is definitely a smart way to expand things.

The slate of anime titles on the serve already is impressive with what it has and with new materials being planned weekly, from shows like Anohana to Death Note and plenty of new series of the season such as Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?

There’s also theatrical programs, including Patlabor WXIII and more to be added.

And Detective Conan gets its own feature section too.
