Fans of Etorouji Shiono are certainly growing in number as they get exposed to more of his works, such as Ubel Blatt being released in North America from Yen Press. With his most recent series, Zelphy of the Aion, ending back in February, the creator is getting ready to launch his next series, which will debut in the June 16th, 2015 issue of Young King Ours. The series is tentatively being called Winged Mermaids and its debut will include its opening page in color and get the cover as well. The opening chapter is set for thirty pages.
Plot concept: Plate tectonics have sunk most landmasses, and seas dominate the planet’s surface. In this age, nations vie for rich underground resources, and the conflict only continues to escalate.
