2 min read

Dragon Ball Z Resurrection FMadman Entertainment grabbed the Australian rights to the new feature film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ a couple of weeks ago and while they don’t have any firm dates yet for its debut in theaters, they’re getting fans excited for it. And they’re doing it by bringing out the main trailer for the film in a much more accessible way with it now subtitled in English. Granted, you can get the girst of the film without subtitles, but this adds just a bit more. They’ll be bringing it out in both English and Japanese form in select cinemas and will be announcing their plans for Australian audiences as soon as the details are finalized. They also indicated that it’s pretty likely, but not confirmed, that it will get a home video release this year.

Based on the screenplay by original creator Akira Toriyama, the two hour film is directed by Tadayoshi Yamamuro with Toei Animation handling the production side of it.

FUNimation has picked up the North American rights to it with plans for a theatrical rollout over the next few months.

Plot concept: An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza’s army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for ‘egg’) arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the “F” that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived…!
