The announcement of the anime adaptation of the Chaos:Child came just about a month ago and now some additional details have surfaced regarding the project as a whole. While the anime side production continues on, Gengeki G’s Magazine has revealed that a manga adaptation of the game will be coming. No start date is set, as they’re likely still figuring out the synergy of all the pieces involved between it, the game and the anime, but it will be illustrated by relucy when it does debut.
The game saw a Japanese release in December 2014 on the Xbox One. It’s coming to the PlayStation family of devices on June 25th of this year.
No details about the production have been revealed at this time.
The Chaos;Head anime has been previously licensed and release by FUNimation in North America.
Plot concept: Described as a “psychological suspense” story, ChäoS;Child takes place in October 2015, six years after the events of ChäoS;HEAd. Abnormal events begin to occur in the Shibuya district, including mysterious deaths.
