Saint Young MenOne property that continues to delight but feels unlikely in that it’ll get a North American release is that of Saint Young Men. The 2013 feature film based on the manga of the same name by Hikaru Nakamura was produced by A-1 Pictures and has had some decent theatrical/film circuit showings in the past year or so. Now it’s coming out for release on home video in Spain on May 6th, 2015 with a DVD and Blu-ray/DVD release. The DVD/BD Collectors Edition with book is priced at 24.99 euro and brings out the film in Spanish 5.1 DTS-HD and Japanese 5.1 DTS-HD while also having Castilian subtitles. Interestingly, the DVD release, priced at 14.99 euro, has the Japanese and Spanish language tracks as well, but only in stereo.

Plot concept: What if Jesus and Buddha were living on Earth in modern times? What if they shared an apartment in Japan? Saint Young Men is a humorous manga about the daily lives of Jesus and Buddha, with each chapter focusing on some element of modern life, such as Disneyland, rush hour on the train, Christmas, the public pool, carnivals, and more.
