First ‘Ant-Man’ Clip Arrives

2 min read

Ant-Man HeaderPaul Rudd arrived on Late Night with David Letterman last night and got to talk about his upcoming project with Ant-Man, which has the difficult job of following up Avengers: Age of Ultron. With his showing up there, we’ve gotten our first clip from the film with Rudd as well as a couple of fun interview minutes about it where he’s pretty self deprecating on the name/concept, as one would expect. We’ve seen that done before, notably with Guardians of the Galaxy, where nobody would believe people would go see a movie about a talking raccoon and walking tree.

Directed by Peyton Reed, the film lands on July 17th, 2015. It stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Michael Peña, Patrick Wilson, Evangeline Lilly, and Corey Stoll.

Plot concept: Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
