‘Infini’ Trailer Hearkens Back To 70’s/80′ SF Films

Set for release on May 8th, 2015 in limited distribution, the Australian science fiction film Infini certainly feels like a slicker production of the kinds of works we used to get in the 70’s and early 80’s before it went into full on blockbuster mode. The film is getting some distribution digitally upon its theatrical release since it’s from a smaller distributor as it’ll be available as a direct to digital release on May 8th as well.

Directed by Shane Abbess, the film star Daniel Macpherson, Grace Huang, Luke Hemsworth, Dwaine Stevenson, Harry Pavlidis, Kevin Copeland, Louisa Mignone, Tess Haubrich with Bren Foster and Luke Ford.

Plot concept: An elite ‘search and rescue’ team transport onto an off-world mining-facility to rescue Whit Carmichael, the lone survivor of a biological outbreak.
